Michelle A. Banks as SHE

MICHELLE A. BANKS is a well-rounded artist from Washington, D.C. and is currently the Artistic Director of Visionaries of the Creative Arts (VOCA) based in D.C.  She was the former Artistic Director of Onyx Theatre Company for over 11 years in NYC. Michelle has received recognition for her acclaimed work in theater such as the 2017 recipient of Gallaudet University’s Laurent Clerc Award.  She has vast experience in acting and directing.  She can be seen in SOUL FOOD, GIRLFRIENDS, and COMPENSATION.

Nayte Paxton as HE


Nayte Paxton's professional entertainment journal spans over 40 years performing internationally as a musician, singer, dancer, and actor.  He is the Co-Founder of Visionaries of the Creative Arts (VOCA) and current Associate Artistic Director.  He was Voice Director for the 2010 production of Michael Frayn’s NOISES OFF; the historical Gallaudet University performance at the American College Theater Festival in Towson, MD.  He spent 12 seasons as Voice Director and voice actor for numerous theater productions with the University.

Paxton was the voice actor for the young character, Travis Younger; the African intellect, Joseph Asagai; and the weaselly Carl Lindner in the 2018 spring production of Lorraine Hansberry’s A RAISIN IN THE SUN, performed on the campus of Gallaudet University; Voice Director and voice character for Z: THE OTHER CHRISTMAS STORY, performed at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Brooklyn, New York, December 2019.   

Paxton expands his talents and skills as Co-Director for the upcoming performance of A RAISIN IN THE SUN, Spring, 2022.
